It’s time to take that idea, put it on paper, and then put it in the hands of readers. The Write It & Publish It Workshop will guide you through this process. As an author of two books, publisher, writing professor, and playwright, I have already done the work for you and I will equip you with the actual tools to not only write, but how to publish your book. This workshop is interactive and full of informative resources at your disposal. So whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, children’s books, your first book or your second, come and learn how to get it done.

Sample Topics:

  • Techniques to writing (what your novel/non-fiction book needs)
  • Writing genres (for example, what is commercial fiction vs. literary fiction/how do memoirs differ from autobiographies?, etc.)
  • Trade Publishing vs. Self Publishing
  • Copywriting
  • Marketing
  • Distribution
  • Writing Conferences and organizations
  • Resourceful websites and books
  • And much, much, more...

Each participant will be given a Write It & Publish It resource guide, and a percentage of your registration fee will benefit Chicago Youth Programs.

This workshop will only accommodate the first 30 registrants…so register now!
